On Wednesday the 10th of February at 12:00 we will be planting trees with the elders of Quasr Al-Sir to commemorate Tu Bishvat, the "New Year of the Trees". Though traditionally a Jewish holiday, we believe it symbolizes prosperity to all nations and a celebration to nature and man. As the settlement in Quasr Al-Sir progresses and the construction of the Green Community Center is about to commence, planting trees manifests the roots of people to their land and their commitment to preserve its prosperity.
